How do I stop photos appearing in my timeline?
Hi, Sorry if this has been asked thousands of times and/or is readily answered online but the answers I’ve found tell me to use a Dropbox vault which I believe has recently been withdrawn, Summarily my wife and I have some rather personal (!?!) photos and videos saved on Dropbox which we don’t want our children to see if they open the app on our phones to look at holiday pictures or whatever, and currently although we’ve moved said items to an unshared folder the images still appear in the photos timeline. Please can someone tell me how to hide them from the timeline and hopefully even password or pin protect the folder we’ve put them in, similar to the ‘Hidden Folded’ on an iPhone? Thanks in advance for any help and advice….
Is it possible Dropbox deleted my photos due to inactivity/being over-quota?
Hello, Has dropbox at anytime removed/deleted photos due to low storage or not accessing dropbox w/in a certain time frame? I have dropbox accounts under two separate email addresses. One has photos and the other does not. I created them so that I could put photos on them so Im a bit confused why Id have an account and no photos and I seem to think the 2nd account had photos. Is there anywhere I can check as to the history? What could have happened to my photos? I did look through some articles and didnt really understand them...other than asking if the photos stored on DropBox are somehow connected to our PC's? There was something mentioned about syncing them. I only recall adding photos to drop box as a storage device. idk honestly. Thanks for any information you can provide.I'd like to be able to search for my screenshots and remove them from the Photos page.
There is no where for me to perform a search in my "Photo" section and select or edit out screenshots from being populated in my "Photos". Screenshots should be allowed to be chosen or not chosen to be backed up in the "Photos" folder if one wishes. Please consider some kind of solution to this as it causes unnecessary duplicate files. I'd appreciate it and thank you.My photos are missing from my account, how can I get them back?
Hello, I’ve had drop box for many years, the free version. Recently I’ve noticed photos that were there are now missing! Havnt been deleted or anything, but they are gone and were 110% there… absolutely distraught, drop box was the only back up for all these precious memories. There is no way to contact a human at drop box what do I do
When I move photos, a copy remains in the original folder, why?
Hi, I'm organizing my photos and am moving some photos to a new folder called "non-family". But they are also remaining in the original folder. Shouldn't they actually just move to the new folder? I'm not copying them, I'm using the "move" option. Thank you!
I deleted a photo from Dropbox, but it also got deleted from my iPhone Photos app.
I would like to delete the photos uploaded to my Dropbox account. The issue is when I deleted one photo as a test, it also deleted it from my IPhone Photos App. I don’t want to lose any photos in my IPhone Photos App. Any help would be appreciated.
