How can I stream a video to my website from Dropbox online?
Hi Guys, So I will try and explain best I can. This is my website https://www.progressivedreamsmusic.com/ and this is a page on my website where I stream videos https://www.progressivedreamsmusic.com/a-progressive-journey-50/ The video that plays on the above page is hosted on my desktop in my dropbox pubic folder. I use a widget within wordpress (on my site) called FV Flowplayer Video Player that allows me to embed videos like this. What I do is copy the link of the video I want to stream and I paste it in FV Player, I change the end of the link from '?dl=0' to '?raw=1', I am not exactly sure why but without this the video won't play. Anyway, without that out of the way you can see what I am doing, but because over time this will take up lots of space on my desktop I want to know how I can stream a video from my online dropbox account like this? I want to store these very large video files in dropox cloud, maybe a public folder on my online account? Basically I want to not eat up my computers hhd space and instead do this via online instead Can anyne help me ?

Changing a file to online only does not work. Nothing happens.
Hey! I've had a problem few weeks now. Even I've tried to put almost everything online only -mode, nothing happens in the hard drive storage. Any ideas what could be wrong? Last month everything worked like a charm. Thanks!

How can I remove a folder that was shared with me? without asking the sharer to remove it for me. I wanted to increase my storage since it's almost full due to the shared files. hope someone can help me with this

How can I cancel my computer backup?
I apparently selected pc backup when I installed Dropbox and naturally I'm out of storage on my Dropbox account now. I don't want and have no need to have my pc backed up to it. I have the desktop app but am not able to find the preferences section to stop it from backing up. I did try just deleting My PC from Dropbox but a message comes up and says if I delete "My PC" it says it will be removed from my Dropbox and from the computer. If I delete it in Dropbox, does that mean I'll lose everything on my laptop too? Sorry if it sounds like a newbie question but I am. 🙂 Any help stopping the PC backup would be greatly appreciated.

Access to my files when my Dropbox account is full?
Hi, I have no more acess my files because my Dropbox is full. I'm encouraged to upgrade it. But I don' want tu upload any files more, I just would like to have access to those which are already there in order to donwnoad them on my PC. What should I do? Thanks a lot

Deleting files does not free up space
I deleted about half of my files and then permanently deleted them in the "Deleted Files" section. It still says I'm about out of space. Is there something else I need to do?

Dropbox taking up "other files" Disk Space on MacOS
Hey, I have an issue with the Dropbox Smart Synch function on my MacBook Pro M1 2020. Until recently everything worked just fine, I also have the "Smart-Synch-Update for Mac" Box checked in the settings. But now, when I synch a file or folder to "online only" it will do that and show, that the file has 0 Byte. But simultaneously my "other files" space in the MacOs Disk Space Tool increases so that I have about 250GB of "other files" on my system, that are no where to be found. Even if I search everything on my Mac there is no folder that is so big. Can anyone help me?

Storage says it is full, but it is not
Hi, I'm new to these forums, so please bare with me. I have an account with folders shared with me by my employer. We have plenty of storage, but when I log in I see a message every time saying I am almost out of storage. No one else on my team sees this when they log in. I did previously have a large folder with a lot of images in it, however I have completely deleted that as well as deleted it from the trash. When I click on the plan page, here is what I see: Personal Dropbox spaceUsing 1.93 GB of 2 GB Regular files (0 bytes) Shared files (1.93 GB) Unused space (74.18 MB) I would love to speak with someone at DropBox directly, but it does not look like that is an option. Can anyone please help? Thanks in advance!
