Allow a personal account to have more than 3 TB, or more than 4 TB with the add on
Hello, I'm a graphic designer with over 15 years of workload. This obviously equates to extreme files sizes. I was disappointed to learn Dropbox don't offer a package for single users over 3TB. I work solely and require more cloud space and don't want to have to upgrade to a 'per user' plan as this isn't cost effective. This option has to become available soon.
Command line code to switch between "Allow offline access" and "Online only" instead of mouse clicks
It would be nice to be able to switch between "allow offline access" and "online only" on the command line instead of using the mouse. For example, "% dropbox -offline_accsess true file1,file2,file3...", "% dropbox -offline_accsess false file1,file2,file3..." Once this is done, it is possible to treat files from the application in much the same way as if they were stored locally, while saving disk space by making them "online only".
duplicate photos without impacting storage
i have lots of photos and videos that belong to multiple hierarchies. for example if i'm on a trip and i record video of some concerts i'm at, i save those videos to a 'travel' folder organized by place and date and also to a music folder organized by the band i'm recording. this is really handy as i can share the entire history of footage i have of that band with someone easily by sharing the the band folder and i don't have to wade through the other videos/pictures from the trip. ideally, i could do this without impacting storage. after all, it is the same photo or video, and under the hood dropbox could just have two different pointers to the same video and i could share one pointer without sharing the other, thus not doubling the storage space. i think this would be useful for a lot of users!
