Dropbox Plan - Basic (Formerly had Business Standard) Are you a Team Member or Admin? - Admin Do you have access to the email linked to the account? Yes Question or Issue I'm the current Admin for my organization and a previous employee is still on our DropBox account as a "Member." From the Admin Console page, it looks like she has 1+ Gb of storage used in her account. If I "Disconnect" her from our account, will her docs be lost? Does she need to set up a separate account first and then, transfer her files before I disconnect her? Any insight would be helpful. I am trying to join a dropbox team that stores technical data for my employer. He has sent an invitation four different times now, and I still can't access the team. While the invitation pops up for me to join, when I try to join the team I get a blank page. Refreshing doesn't resolve the page, I've tried closing the browser and reopening the link, restarting my computer, and clearing all other app activity. If I open the link and reopen dropbox, it shows the invitation but does not add me to the team. I've tried logging out and logging back in, and that doesn't resolve the issue either. Hello, Our company’s admin Dropbox account was deleted due to locked state. However, other team members who had access to files shared from this admin account can still view them. I need to delete some of these files, but since the owner account (admin) was deleted, I no longer have control over them. When I logged back into the admin account, a new profile was created, and all previous files were missing. Is there a way to assign admin rights to one of the existing members with access to these files, so they can control and manage them as an admin? Can anyone help me? I have had an existing dropbox account for years. I freelance for an external company who invited me to join their dropbox business account and somehow i have integrated my business dropbox account onto theirs. Obviously not a great situation to be in and I don't know how to undo it - it doesn't appear has 'linked' in my profile. I really need to speak to someone at dropbox but i sent them a help request and they closed it without answering. I'm very anxious that they can simply delete my whole business dropbox. I received an invite from an admin. I joined and created an account. We have endless storage but somehow I've created a free account using the link invite. I do not know how to fix this. Once I was able to sign into the team account and upload things without getting a message reading upgrade for more storage. I think maybe I have two account under my work email.
