Error message states "Sorry, we could not find <filename>. Is it possible it was moved, renamed or deleted?" It has not been moved, renamed or deleted. Not all Excel files are affected but this is not the first time this has happened. I have 3 computers and all of them have this issue. I'm using Office 365 on all 3 computers. I would like to get a response from someone who has had this issue and how it was solved. Thanks in advance for your assistance. This morning I started receiving the error message "This file can't be previewed" when I try to view pictures saved in my dropbox account. These are all uploaded by me and span a couple years worth of pictures. This is a work account, so it's important these aren't lost. They are also linked on a google doc and the same message occurs when the link is clicked. I tried signing out then back in. I'm not sure what else to try?Solved66KViews0likes22CommentsProblem playing phone call recording from Call Recorder ACR
I have Call Recorder ACR app on my mobile phone. I've linked to Dropbox to store my phone recordings. They appear in Dropbox after each call but I can't get them to play on Windows Media Play although it supposedly supports 3GP and MP4, both of which I've tried. Any suggestions?Solved47KViews2likes11CommentsMove files from Dropbox to OneDrive
Hello I really hope someone can help me with this! I had all of my files I Dropbox in the desktop app on my Microsoft (Windows 10) computer. I had chosen to save files online and not local due to the fact the my computer doesnât have enough GB. I then choose to move to OneDrive (also in the desktop app) and just cut and pasted my entire folder with all of the folders and files in it. It then took a long time of course to move it all and now the desktop Dropbox folder is empty and everything should then be in the OneDrive desktop folder. OneDrive said that it was done syncing but when restarting the computer it continued. I have restarted the computer several times since yesterday and it happens every time. I had just about 200 GB worth of files in the Dropbox and everything is moved but only about 60 GB of the files can open in OneDrive and the rest of them is not able to open. I have googled and found out that this method can be used but I should probably have saved it to the local desk and not only as online files according to google. When I open Dropbox.com now I see my files and I tried to download one folder to the local desk as a zip file but it wasnât able to open. Now I am really not sure what to do or how to get all of my files to OneDrive so I can open them all. As mentioned my local hard drive doesnât have space for it all and on top of that Iâm not sure if Dropbox has still saved all of my files online and if they are even saved there since I deleted them in the Dropbox desktop app. Dias anyone have a good advice and a solution for me so I will not loose any files? I am in the middle of an exam so it is very urgent. Thanks in advance!Solved25KViews1like5CommentsHyperlink not working in Excel
I am new to file sharing on Dropbox and am looking to use Dropbox to house an excel spreadsheet which has hyperlinks to pdf's. I emailed the spreadsheet as an attachment to my colleague direct from excel and when they opened the spreadsheet and clicked on the hyperlink for the PDF they got an error message stating the PDF's were not available or something along those lines. Note, when I click on the hyperlinks from my computer, they go right to the PDF's with no issue, but I am assuming that's due to the fact that I am working on the PC that has Dropbox downloaded and it's pulling from those files. In doing some research, I think what I need to do is move all the data (pdf's and spreadsheet) in a folder that I share with my colleague, so when he opens it he is able to click through to the PDF's. Is that accurate?Solved21KViews0likes18Comments
