Help!!! My Dropbox app on my iPhone has not synced in over a year... I have a Iphone 13 mini, running iOS 18.7.2. I have tried logging in/out of my Dropbox account, deleting the App and downloading it again from the App Store, clearing my cache, restarted my iPhone, unlinked and linked back to my laptop and NOTHING is working.... For reference I am attaching a screenshot which shows my files sorted by Modified" and it shows that the last file which was modified was over a year ago. I use files in my Dropbox multiple times everyday. Any thoughts on what I can try? It's really frustrating.Solved85Views0likes9CommentsSome of my shared folder members can't see the changes I make in said folder.
Device MSI Laptop i9 Operating System/Browser (if using the web) Windows 11/ Google Chrome Dropbox App Version (if using the app) 233.4.4938 Syncing Status Up to date Question or Issue I am using Dropbox basic with 15 gb storage as I have introduced friends to it over the years I am sharing a folder which has one file (Manager.io database) The shared folder shows 2 members. I do a backup from my computer to Dropbox but the other member is not able to see it. Today, I have removed the shared folder and started all over again and the 2nd member can see and open the new folder. Tomorrow when I do a new backup to dropbox, the 2nd user can only see the first backup and not the new backup folder. What do I do for the 2nd member to be able to see the new folder? As I have been sharing folders for many years on Dropbox, I thought I only had to share folders with another member, or has Dropbox complicated the process nowadays and do I have also to create a link to make it work? The second user only has view rights and not edit rights. Hi everyone, I’m a photographer and use Dropbox to back up and share high-resolution images, especially those edited in the Hypic - Photo Editor and AI Arts. Lately, I’ve been encountering some frustrating problems with uploading and syncing my photos. I typically work with large files, like RAW images or high-res edited photos (some files are over 100MB each), and when I try to upload multiple photos at once, the process slows down drastically or fails halfway. This happens even when I’m on a stable, high-speed internet connection. I’ve tried different browsers, and even the Dropbox desktop app, but the issue persists. Occasionally, the sync just pauses or takes forever to complete. I’ve checked my storage limit, and I’m nowhere near the cap, so it’s not a space issue. I also made sure my Dropbox app is up to date. Has anyone else faced this issue with uploading or syncing large photo files? Could it be something to do with file size limits, upload throttling, or specific settings that need adjusting for smoother uploads? Also, are there any tips or best practices for handling large files on Dropbox—like splitting them up, compressing, or changing settings? I rely on Dropbox for my workflow, and this issue is slowing down my entire process. Any help or advice would be much appreciated.136Views0likes2CommentsI organized a massive amount of files on the desktop app, but sync seems to have stopped.
Yikes! Everything had been going well. Uploads to Dropbox from my main external HDs seemed fine. The DropBox online and my iMac were synced. THEN, I continued sorting, reorganizing, renaming the folder structure, moving around some files, deleting others. Not sure how many hours, but a lot. NOTICED that the online thru browser no longer reflected my files on Desktop. In troubleshooting it seemed okay to quit and restart the desktop app. I also restarted my computer. This has not solved anything. For hours now, the pull down report from menu bar says it's syncing "16.214 files 9MB" but, I do not see any progress. The browser doesn't reflect the changes. WHAT IS MY NEXT STEP? I want to retain all the organization work. I am worried if I redownload and install the app, I may end up with an earlier state of the files. Please advise.Solved239Views0likes6CommentsThe shared link I've created shows an older folder name instead of the current one.
Hello - I'm sharing a link for a folder, which includes all of the right files. However, the title of the folder is not accurate when sent by shared link. The folder name is accurate in DropBox, but when I share the link, an old folder name appears instead. Where can I update that for the shared link to reflect the current name of the folder? Example: In DropBox it says "2025" and when I share the link the folder they view says "2024"... which makes them think it is out of date/incorrect.167Views0likes4CommentsWhen opening a shared link using Gmail, it alters the URL.
As I prepare to send a press release to my media contacts with my Dropbox folder link (that has view-only permissions) included, I've found that the link works only a few times after I click it in my test emails. But afterwards, the URL starts to unfurl the ampersands (&) as "amp;" and it breaks the link, giving 400 errors on all my devices. i.e. The original, working URL structure: [...] rlkey=rjcrcap8ebtitcazxmlhi4zw0&st=yl5h2f17&dl=0 The 400 error version of the link: [...] rlkey=rjcrcap8ebtitcazxmlhi4zw0&st=yl5h2f17&dl=0 When I delete the "amp;"s manually, the URL works again as it should. Any idea why this is happening? I cannot share my Dropbox link until this is fixed. For my tests, I am using the latest iOS both on a recent Macbook and an iPhone 14. Browser is Google Chrome or Safari (both seem to have the issue). Mail system I'm using is Gmail.162Views0likes3CommentsJob Application cannot be submitted, it scrolls to the top of the page.
Hello, I'm trying to submit the application for the Senior Workday Analyst; however when I click submit it goes top of the page. I tried to clear the cache, and different browsers and OS. I can share my screenshot if you need it. Please let me know! Thank you!Solved477Views0likes7CommentsFolder appears empty
Is there any way to get access to an expired link? I had gotten a disposable camera processed a year ago and have tried to access the Dropbox link from my emails, however, no matter the browser or device it always says the folder is empty even though it should have at least 25 photos in it. Has anyone experienced this issue before? The company I got the photos processed with have lost the film roll and wondering how I can gain access to these photosSolved179Views0likes4Comments
