A while ago, I made a slide show from a folder full of jpgs through dropbox, that I was able to email the link to people, I'd like to do it again. I don't remember how to though. Anyone know? Windows. Been using dropbox successfully for years.25Views0likes4CommentsLarge List no longer available?
Hello, I use Dropbox online (the web version, not the app version). I work under a business account (for my job), and generally, I would use the Large List option to view folders. We have far too many folders to use Grid or Large Grid, and the regular List option doesn't supply you with quite as much information as I would like (such as who uploaded the document/created the folder. Recently, the Large List option has disappeared entirely, leaving only Grid, Large Grid, and List. I asked, and our Dropbox plan has not changed. I use Windows and work on Firefox, if that makes any difference. Is there any way to fix this, or is Large List something that DB is doing away with? Grateful for any help! Thank you!Solved56Views0likes4CommentsHelp with downloading my stuff from the website
Hi, I had a Dropbox subscription that didn’t suit my needs, and I eventually stopped using the service. I forgot about it until I received a notice that my files would be deleted because my account is over the free plan limit. That part is understandable. However, I’m having trouble downloading my materials. Some files are over 150 GB, and the app has been giving me issues. I managed to manually download some files through my browser, but now I’ve received an email saying that my traffic exceeded the 20 GB daily limit. Since my files are much larger than that, I’m stuck. What can I do? How can I contact someone at Dropbox to help me download my files so I can then delete my account? Thanks in advance.114Views0likes11CommentsFile names not appearing in ‘Recents’
I am using the online version of Dropbox. It has been working well but recently when using the Recents tab the list displays a list of images, but the file names that contain the images are missing. I can find the files and download from All Files but I like the convenience of the Recents tab. I am on Windows 7 which I know is outdated but it has been working fine until now.175Views0likes16CommentsI can't locate some of my Dropbox folders between device. Sync miscommunication?
I'm having multiple folders not showing up on various devices. It really is a bit of a mystery as to which ones are included and excluded. Devices are up to date and dropbox is synced. Folders are showing on http://www.dropbox.com/home but still not on the PC, Phone, iPad, etc.52Views0likes2CommentsCan't download my files anymore. I get a "download error" message.

I am running MacOS Tahoe 26.1 on a MacBook Pro For work, I often use the preview function in finder to type directly onto a PDF. I thought this was going fine -- the edits are saved and viewable in finder, even for people on other devices -- until I looked at the PDFs I've been editing on the web version of Dropbox. This is a problem in Safari, Chrome, and Firefox. The PDFs, other than the information scanned in the photocopier, are blank. I have made sure to clear the dropbox cache, resinstall the dropbox app, restart my computer, verified that all my files are available offline and I have permission to edit them. Everything, according to the Dropbox app, is synced and up to date. What am I doing wrong?Solved92Views0likes4CommentsDownloading from the web kicks me off Wi-Fi and I have issues moving files
Whenever I try to download through my Windows 11 set-up, the download fails and I get kicked off my internet connection. I've seen a number of people complain about this - on here and on Reddit - and the solution appears to involve turning off virus protection, but that clearly isn't a viable or sensible solution. Dropbox needs to figure out what's going wrong and fix it. As it stands, the platform is no longer viable for me and the company I work for. If a proper solution isn't found soon, we will be moving our business elsewhere. To make matters worse, there's the problem of moving files. I used to be able to click Move, then click Create new folder, navigate back, Click Move again, the new folder would come up and I could click on it. Job done. Now, Create new folder is greyed out and I have to go through a ridiculous number of steps to create the new folder and move the file. The obvious folders aren't offered as defaults and it's just a total faff. Dropbox used to be very efficient and easy to use. Now it's effectively useless. The only way that I can actually use it is by doing everything via a Mac to carry out the downloads then email the files to my PC - obviously not a viable solution in the long term. As I said, if Dropbox can't find a solution to these issues, we'll be moving our business elsewhere.159Views0likes7Comments
