Device - Macbook pro Apple M1 Max - 32GB Operating System/Browser (if using the web) - MacOS 15.6.1 (24G90) Dropbox App Version/Browser Version - Version 139.0.7258.139 (Official Build) (arm64) Question or Issue One of the most awesome features of Dropbox Paper, besides it's elegant, minimal display options , and smooth copy-paste with Apple Mail, is the task sidebar.I have looked for a replacement as Drop[box paper has aged, and nothing comes close. Unfortunately, the sidebar has stopped working the way it was designed. When I click on a todo in the task sidebar, it always forces a reload of the page (it did not used to, if I clicked on a task that was within this document.) AND, if the document is large, it does not scroll to a todo in a large document. This renders the Task sidebar almost useless as a navigation tool. Now I have to search text to match the todo, where the Task sidebar navigation used to be seamless. Attached is a document that exhibits the "full page reload" issue. And a screen recording of a larger file, where the todo list does not scroll. PLEASE fix this! This is CRUCIAL to our workflow with our many many clients. We do NOT want to migrate off Dropbox Paper! First, the document link: link removed by moderator Next the recording, please listen to the voiceover. link removed by moderator PLEASE HELP! I have encountered an issue with Dropbox when using Microsoft Word (Online editing). When my Dropbox storage is nearly full, a warning message appears below stating: “You only have xxx MB of space left in Dropbox”, with a button labeled “Close”. The problem is that: The warning message remains visible even after clicking the “Close” button. It overlays the bottom part of the Word window, covering important elements such as footnotes and the footer section. This severely affects document editing and overall usability. Since the message cannot be dismissed and it blocks critical parts of the Word interface, it significantly disrupts my workflow. Is there any way to disable this/how can I report this to Dropbox technical support?308Views0likes9CommentsDropbox Passwords app does not send notifications to allow new device

I'm having trouble getting Microsoft Office Online to load properly. When I open a *.docx document as the preview and choose "Open with Word for Web" my browser opens a new tab and the loads the same *.docx file in the preview mode. If I go to the same dropdown and click "Open with Word for Web", it opens yet another tab that also ends up being the same preview folder. The Word for Web loads properly if I use the DropBox browser interface to create a new document. However when I close it, I am back to the original situation where if I try to open it with Word for Web it only loads a new tab in the preview view. Can somebody help me get this working again? This situation started suddenly and is new to me.Solved2.1KViews0likes12CommentsExcel for the web is no longer able to load files.
Hello, My friend and I share multiple excel files that we use regularly. So far that worked like a charm! We've done so for years and we never really had any problems. But since this week, the larger files won't open anymore. Even files that we don't update anymore and always opened in Excel for the web, won't open anymore. Has anything changed? I've tried different browsers, clearing the browser cache, but it isn't working. Does anyone have any other ideas? Thanks in advance!375Views0likes11CommentsNew installation of Chrome Dropbox passwords on Linux Chromium is not working
I have installed Dropbox Passwords on my Linux laptop from my Dropbox account using Chromium. I get the "Check you other devices for a notification," and I have received this notification on at least two other devices, but clicking "allow" button does nothing. I have successfully installed Dropbox Passwords in Firefox on this same laptop. Using the recovery words option delivers the "something went wrong" message.Solved137Views0likes1CommentDropbox Paper docs appear on the mobile app, but not my web account.
I’ve been using Dropbox and Paper for over 8years now. Everything was working well until this morning. Now the files that are on my paper app on my phone are nowhere to be found on my paper account online. I use Dropbox for my writing career and have the biggest show in years coming up Sunday. I have had a ticket open since 10am and have received no correspondence. I can see all my docs in the paper app just fine, and I can search for them on Dropbox but if I don’t remember the title, it doesn’t allow me to view them. I have over 200 paper files, and I have noticed that if I copy them all one by one and paste them into this new interface then I may have a shot I self restoring. This is terrible and my show is less than 48 hours. Can someone please help me!!!129Views0likes2Comments
