How can I see the size of all files in a folder?
Most file storage systems at least have a column with file sizes. The only way I can find in DropBox to see file sizes is to individualy view a file's history. Ideally, I want to see a sortable column of file sizes in the list view. A total size for the current folder would also be helpful. Is there some hidden easier way to show storage used by each file or folder? Even the total storage "used" information is inaccurate since it combines shared storage from other accounts. This information would be more intuitive if displayed as "unshared", "shared", and "combined".Solved13KViews2likes14Comments

How do I calculate the size of multiple folders at once? I'm trying to find the largest folders on my Dropbox, so I can delete them. I'd like to calculate the file size of all folders on my account. Grid View when accessing shared folders through shared links?
I find it incredibly frustrating that I cannot view images in a folder by grid. The idea of creating an album for each folder seems crazy -- especially as those folders seem to be on a per account basis rather than across our cloud storage. I find it frustrating that I would have to then search for an album in a non list way to view its contents, which with the 60+ albums I'd have to make, could become impossible quite quickly, when all I want is to be able to view the contents of a folder in grid view. If this is something that an archaic system lik Microsoft can offer, dropbox should be able to offer it as well.Solved6.4KViews5likes6Comments

I'm trying to determine how much space my "pictures" folder is taking up by following these instructions. However, they're not working for me. On my new laptop I installed the Dropbox app and found that my HDD space was in the red, I uninstalled it and find the HDD space is changing, but not by much (I have around 90Gb on Dropbox). How to calculate ALL folder sizes at once
How do I calculate the size of ALL folders at once? I followed various instruction on this forum but none seem to work for me. First, I have selected 'size' as one of my column headers. Then, I select all the folders by selecting the first folder, and using the shift key, select the last folder. However, at that point, my screen changes, the ellipses disapper and I can't find a way to 'calcuate size'. See screenshot attached. I just realized there's no folder information on the website or phone app in my current plan, which is Professional. I think a basic information folder should be available, I shouldn't need to upgrade for something so basic as knowing the folder size and amount of files.
