I made an account yesterday (with the basic free account) and downloaded the desktop app. One problem is that no icon appears on my desktop. If I need to open the app, I have to press the Windows key and type the name in. The major problem is that I can't sign into the desktop app. It would open my default browser (Edge) for me to sign in and then that page would change to "Successfully logged in. Open Dropbox" but then the app would give an error "Previous sign in interrupted. Please try again." immediately after. I've uninstalled the app, reinstalled it, restarted my laptop, cleared my browser's data, but still get the same error. I'm able to sign in on my other browser (Firefox) and mobile browser (Chrome app) without any issues. I know my user NAMES and PASSWORDS. I CAN login in on any computer, except the ONE that I need my Dropbox working. I have tried with EDGE, CHROME and FIREFOX (Windows 10). I tried PRIVATE mode on THREE browsers. I enter my email and password. I choose sign in. I get the login screen again empty. The app does nothing. Hi. Recently I've started having the problem reported by others months ago of being faced with no less than 10 ridiculous puzzles to complete in order to log on. Having done so it says you have failed verification. Having been through changing lots of things I'm convinced it's not to do with browser, extensions, VPN or whatever as it is only intermitant and other times I simply get a code to email and log in no problem. Hello, I have the problem as described. The Dropbox web page does not open when clicking on the icon at the top of the desktop menu bar ( selection option ). Hi I have had a DB account for many years under an email address which I have recently changed. My Windows Explorer and smartphone (using the old email address) work as expected and I can save and use files in DB in both. However my Windows laptop doesn't show any files or folders and appears to think I wish to set up a new account when I attempted to change to my new email address. When I try and revert back to the old email address to start again it tells me this email address is already taken. How do I have all folders and files appear in online DB under my new email address?
