Hi, Normally when I browse through my camera uploads on my PC, I can see the pictures on the right side of the screen when I push "Example". These pictures are large. Now however I do not see anything at the most of the pictures, and small pictures on others. Dropbox is set to sync pictures so that they are available off line. Can anyoune help solve this? I found I had the same issue as this person... JPG Files don't display in File Explorer Preview Pane | The Dropbox Community Any JPGs in my dropbox would not show up in my Windows 10 File Explorer preview pane. All other folders on my PC worked fine. Copied the JPGs from my Dropbox folder to any non-dropbox location and they worked fine. SOOOO As per the suggestion in the above mentioned post, I deleted dropbox, reinstalled it, and re-sync'd all the same files. They work fine now. A pain, and no reason why this happens, but I wanted to share incase others run into this.Solved62Views1like2CommentsShared files are corrupted for me only when I open them via my Windows desktop app and not the web.
Hello I've run into an issue where files in a shared folder for our organization are showing as corrupted for me. It is not all files, but most. And it includes files I uploaded yesterday. It is affecting Word, Excel, JPEG, and PDF Files. I can access the files through the web client without issue, and other users in the organization are able to access the files via explorer currently. So it would seem to be an issue with my interface only. My subscription is a Plus account. I'm running Windows 10. Any suggestions are appreciated Thank you22Views0likes1CommentI can't open my Dropbox files; there's the OneDrive box icon next to them.
What do I do about the One drive sync issue that causes the file box to appear on all of your dropbox files? This happened like suddenly a couple of weeks ago. I can't open the files at al now, and they are so much of my work, like all. In the end I DON'T want drop box saving my files to my physical computer it has eaten all my space, but for now I can't even open them!!!47Views0likes1CommentCan I remove the giant checkbox sync icons?
I'm on windows 11 and the sync icon checkboxes are so huge in explorer windows they cover most of the picture in the folder. I would like to remove them or make them smaller, but still have my folder be syncing. Who thought it would be a good idea to make those icons so big?Solved59Views0likes5CommentsI can't zoom in to the Dropbox image preview
I'm having trouble with image previews in Dropbox on my Windows 11 machine. Whenever I click on a JPEG image to preview it, the image appears in a small, fixed-size window. I can't seem to resize the window or zoom in on the image, even though I've tried using the scroll wheel and the zoom controls. I'm running Dropbox version 216.3.4345 and Windows 11 version 26100.2605. I've already tried updating my graphics drivers, adjusting the display settings in Windows, and reinstalling Dropbox, but the issue persists. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Any suggestions?109Views0likes15CommentsCan't open encrypted files via Boxcryptor
W11: not possible anymore to open encrypted files via good (old) boxcryptor. no matter which filetype and when it was last changed. Was possible without any problems before the update for the last 8+years Installing non beta 185 doesn't solve this. Moving the encrypted folder out of dropbox everything is fine again. Maybe related to problem in mac, since there is no preview of files either https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Dropbox-desktop-client-builds/Beta-Build-186-3-6103/td-p/7222821.9KViews0likes13CommentsSearching Dropbox files on my Windows results in "File not found" error, when I open it.
I just installed dropbox locally on Windows and when I try searching for a file, the file comes up quickly in the search, but if I try just double clicking to open the file it give me error "File not found it may have been moved, edited or deleted." But if I just right click on the search and found file, and then select "Open file location", the exact folder opens, I can now double click on the file and open it without a problem. Any help on resolving this would be appreciated. Thanks!36Views0likes3Comments
