I can’t. I need to recover my data & export to another cloud service. I don’t succeed neither to export or win load the files directly. I can’t make any backup neither except by upgrading. please help I want to solve the issue by recovering all my data on my hardwares at least or export a single somehow. Question or Issue I signed up for a Dropbox Professional Trial a month ago, to receive some data from a consulting client. I had a family emergency yesterday, on the day that my one month Dropbox trial expired. I was upgraded and renewed for a full year. I was expecting a monthly subscription. I need to cancel and to obtain a refund. I have not moved one byte of data through Dropbox since my subscription was switched over to the paid subscription. My client might not have any more data to send me. I can accept paying for one month of service, but I do not need a year. After changing my Dropbox account email address, I received multiple emails from mailto:support@docsend.com wanting me to confirm my new email account address. As all looked legit, I did click on the link. Now I am supposedly signed up for (without putting in any credit card information) a free trial of the "Advanced Data Rooms" through Feb. 14. I have no interest in this and do not plan to use DocSend anytime soon. When the free trial ends, I don't want to be charged or deal with this. There doesn't seem to be anything to click on to cancel the free trial. Thoughts? Ticket #25863456 I found out that Dropbox had been taking money from my account using expired card details, without my consent or permission, or having provided them any new, valid payment details. I raised this issue, and on Dec 31, 2025, Louis said he took some steps to resolve this, including: "Issued a full refund of £79.96, which should appear in your account within 3–5 business days depending on your bank" It has now been more than 3-5 business days and I have not received the full refund as promised. I tried to reply via the customer portal but it said I no longer had access to it. I tried to reply via email, as they said I could, e.g. "If there’s anything else I can help with, just reply to this email and I’ll be happy to assist." So I did, and got this email back: "Hi, Thanks for reaching out to Dropbox support. Replies to this email are routed to an unmonitored inbox and will not be answered by our support team." (Via the Dropbox website) Question or Issue Whenever I try to add new teams or try to deactivate my Dropbox free trial, I only got "Something went wrong on our end. Close and try again.". Before this occurred, I started a 10 TB free trial, only to get 200 GB. I've then tried to deactivate it, and it succeeded, but it said I'm still in a free trial, even though I'm not, therefore I can't delete my account. I was charged after I signed up to a free trial, which I cancelled within the trial period. It infuriates me, as on top of that, the cancellation was complex to do and at various points it seemed that I had cancelled only to find out at the bottom of the page that I needed to go through another 5 clicks to actually be able to cancel. I have found the experience very user-unfriendly - the real aim was not to offer me a trial to find out whether this option suited me, but to catch me out so that I - unwittingly - stayed a subscriber - and even after making sure I followed the procedure, my money was taken. Dropbox Plan: originally Plus, accidentally signed up for Teams (want to cancel Teams) Payment Method Card How did you upgrade? Dropbox website Question or Issue I accidently signed up for the Teams free trial when I was trying to add a password to a folder on my personal Plus account. The trial has expired and my account is now locked. Every time I try to cancel/delete my team is tells me there is an error and to try again. I tried to go into the admin console and convert my account back to a personal/Plus account with no success — whenever I try to go to Settings on the Member section it tells me I don’t have permission.
