dropbox business
1147 TopicsShould I have a personal or Business account?
I own my business and use Dropbox Business. It's great and more secure than personal, which I have loads of data on. Is there any reason I should have both? I can't think of any. Seems like I should just migrate everything to DB Biz. Am I missing something?2.9KViews0likes6Comments"Pause Sync" does not automatically restart on my Windows device.
After the new app update, when I "Pause Sync" for 30 minutes or 1 Hour, it does not restart syncing after the selected time. It does say something like "File syncing and backups paused until 1:11 PM" but it does not start syncing again at that time and stays paused until I manually choose Resume Sync. Integration Affected Zoom + Dropbox Device ALL - Macbook Pro M2, iPhone 15 ProMax Operating System/Browser (if using the web) macOs Tahoe 26 Beta 26.2 Dropbox App Version (if using the app) Browser + iPhone App Question or Issue We have used the Zoom + Dropbox integration to automatically copy recorded Zoom Meetings to Dropbox for several years now but have not had a new recording transfer since November 5, 2025 despite having many new Zoom recordings saved to the cloud. We have removed the Dropbox App for Zoom, reinstalled the Zoom App, and made sure the box was checked to "Copy Zoom cloud recordings to Dropbox" and selected the box to UPDATE. The integration is still not working. I have seen several posts from other Dropbox users with the same issue but have not seen an OFFICIAL statement from Dropbox acknowledging that this is a KNOWN ISSUE. Can someone from Dropbox please clarify? Thanks in advance!71Views0likes1CommentCalculate all sizes
I feel like I'm living in a parallel universe or have time travelled back to 1985 but I would like to propose a simple, brilliant, obvious, missing feature: The ability to calculate sizes of multiple Dropbox folders. So that I can select hundreds of Dropbox folders (in the web version to get a true picture of actual storage) then calculate all sizes, then sort in size order. This has been a part of most operating systems for what, 20+ years? But Dropbox doesn't facilitate it. A cynic might suggest that it's a deliberate move to avoid customers seeing what is taking up space and choosing to delete, using up less space and therefore spending less money. But surely Dropbox wouldn't treat their customers in such a way...? I've been a loyal customer - and advocate - for many years in the face of cheaper competitors but this has honestly blown my mind.26Views0likes1CommentA team member is not receiving our invitation.

I am not getting the refresh token even after following the instructions on https://developers.dropbox.com/oauth-guide Note: you’ll need to include token_access_type=offline as a parameter on your Authorization URL in order to return a refresh_token inside your access token payload. We are an MSP and we've just acquired a client that uses Dropbox a lot. I assumed (and they led to believe) they were using an Enterprise account but they are not Each person (12 ish) has their own separate Dropbox accounts; one of which has been used to share "company" data with the others. There is approx 550Gb of this data What is the best practice to amalgamate these into one "proper" company account with the appropriate users? If there's any Dropbox staff out there we would be happy to engage with you on a consultancy basis to sort this properly Simon42Views0likes3Comments
