On iPad, adjust column widths, or allow line wrap, to show full filenames
Is it possible to prevent long filenames being shortened from the end? My filenames need to have the whole name displayed, rather than having the end characters chopped off. These "end" characters identify the various versions of the same file. Many thanks, JohnF3.5KViews27likes13Comments
The ability to add tags in the mobile app.
Iâm not sure why this has been suggested for years now and this basic functionality still isnât present in the app. This makes your automation really frustrating if I canât add tags on my phone when Iâm away from my computer and adding files from my phone.307Views7likes7Comments
The Dropbox app should have a dedicated backups tab

The service has been invaluable in ensuring the safety and accessibility of my data. I wanted to suggest a feature that I believe would greatly enhance the user experience: the addition of a dedicated tab within the Dropbox app to view backups. Currently, this functionality is only available through the web interface. Having direct access to my backups via the app would significantly improve convenience, allowing me to quickly verify and manage my files wherever I am. I use Dropbox a lot, every single day at work. I have to upload plenty of photos from my phone (iOS). And every time, when I choose photos, than âSave to Dropboxâ, and now I have to choose folder from the very beginning of structureâŠ.every time. (3 recent folders doesnât help really well because every time I have to upload to a different folder). so, it will be great, Iâll make you a Monument if you add a least âstarredâ folder to the âShare menuâ (for example: at the very top âStarred foldersâ, than âRecentâ, than the restâŠ) or, if it hard to perform with âstarredâ foldersâŠletâs do another âmarkerââŠany. just please give us an opportunity of quick access to chosen folders. It would be great to have a 1.75x option for playback speed of videos on the mobile app (iOS).
All major video platforms like YouTube, Wistia etc have 1.75 x speed also. Sometimes 1.5 is slow and 2 x is fast and hence 1.75x is idea for videos. So when I am watching the Dropbox video on my iPad it does not have 1.75x speed. Would be great to have this speed.216Views1like5Comments
Searching for files using their full file-path.
Dear team Searching for files (e.g. by name) on the iOS app is very quick and good. However, once found, it would be great if we could see the full filepath of that resulting folder or file (e.g. C:\Dropbox\.... ) so that it can be quickly found on my laptop or desktop machine. Can you add this feature please? (Under the iOS app, you can select 'Show in Folder' via the three dots next to the file, but this still doesn't give visability of the full path.)
