I have been using Dropbox for a long time. It worked I never had to change anything from my initial setup. On going from Windows 10 to 11 my camera uploads changed from .jpg to .heic. Most of my use for Dropbox is uploading photos from my iPhone. I have searched through the setting menus on the Desktop App, the taskbar as Dropbox is always open and the web. I can't find the thing. Where is this camera setting?65Views0likes11CommentsDropbox iOS problem: Unable to share more than 3 files at once.
After my Dropbox app was automatically updated recently (version 414.3), I can no longer send more than four files at once through another app. When I select four or fewer files, it works fine, but selecting more than four prevents me from tapping the send button. My friends who also use iPhones are experiencing the same issue, but Android devices don’t seem to have this problem. (I'm using an iPhone 16 Pro.) Same here. On my iphone when I select several pictures and choose save to Dropbox, it would tell me if there was a duplicate. In the last day or so, it stopped giving me that warning and instead places multiple copies of the file with a (x) suffix on the filename.33Views0likes4CommentsApps in my iPhone say my Dropbox is empty when I try to attach files
Hello! Whenever I try to attach a file saved in Dropbox from an app (for instance, WhatsApp message, or Mail app) in my iPhone (iOS 18.1), the app says my Dropbox is empty, although it is fully synced in my phone. Interestingly, from the Messages app I'm able to attach a file and if I open the Dropbox app and select to export a file to WhatsApp or Mail, it works. I've tried disabling and enabling Dropbox from the Browse option, clearing history and website data and restarting the phone, and nothing worked. Any suggestions? Thank you!156Views0likes14CommentsAdding photos from my iPhone. Backup vs uploading
I am trying to add all my photos from my iPhone 16 to Dropbox in order to delete them off of my phone. if I only use the backup feature can I do the above? Or do I have to upload each photo where I have to click each photo and it only allows 400 at a time? can you explain the difference like I’m 2 please. Because in my mind the way i understand is you’re suppose to use the backup feature for new photos so it saves going forward but if I put for all photos (since I’m new here) it should save them all. And the upload is like a second option43Views0likes2CommentsUnable to download files to my phone after adding them to the Dropbox folder on my computer
I have the DropBox on my PC through File Explorer and in the past I would copy MP4/MP3 files to the DropBox folder on my PC. I would then use the VLC app on my iPhone to download the files to my iPhone. Now when I click on the download icon in the VLC app it will no longer download the file. Is there a setting in DropBox that has changed? I now see there is a Vault, but I do not understand why the DropBox folder on my pc to be affected but this change. Curious if you have any suggestions. I have contacted VLC but they are pointing to DropBox as the issue. Kenn67Views0likes7CommentsiOS app: Delete photos option after uploaded
It would be great if we had the option to remove photos from our iPhone once it has successfully uploaded via the upload to folder feature. I don’t use that automatic photos uploading so it is quite frustrating to have to upload then find the same photos to delete in the iOS photo app.352Views0likes4Comments
