When I try to open the app, the app tries to start up then immediately crashes and closes. I have tried deleting and redownloading the app countless times, but it hasn’t solved anything. The app is also up to date and doesn’t need to be updated. Is this happening to anyone else? It’s been going on all month for me. Any other solutions or fixes? Thanks!Solved14Views0likes2CommentsThe ability to add tags in the mobile app
I’m not sure why this has been suggested for years now and this basic functionality still isn’t present in the app. This makes your automation really frustrating if I can’t add tags on my phone when I’m away from my computer and adding files from my phone.7Views0likes0CommentsApps in my iPhone say my Dropbox is empty when I try to attach files
Hello! Whenever I try to attach a file saved in Dropbox from an app (for instance, WhatsApp message, or Mail app) in my iPhone (iOS 18.1), the app says my Dropbox is empty, although it is fully synced in my phone. Interestingly, from the Messages app I'm able to attach a file and if I open the Dropbox app and select to export a file to WhatsApp or Mail, it works. I've tried disabling and enabling Dropbox from the Browse option, clearing history and website data and restarting the phone, and nothing worked. Any suggestions? Thank you!67Views0likes9CommentsOn iPad, adjust column widths, or allow line wrap, to show full filenames
Is it possible to prevent long filenames being shortened from the end? My filenames need to have the whole name displayed, rather than having the end characters chopped off. These "end" characters identify the various versions of the same file. Many thanks, JohnF3.1KViews27likes11CommentsI can't open Word files from Dropbox on iOS
Hello .. Suddenly i cant open my files from dropbox, it worked as usual yesterday, but after a couple of hours i couldnt open any file at all so i can edit in word. A new window popped up and said something about " docx stores on a serverlocation that does not support". After a couple of hours trying to fix this with uninstalling word, dropbox, microsoft office etc, I managed to get files to open through Word app only when i didnt had microsoft office installed on my Ipad. But at soon as i install microsoft 365 (office) again, it doesnt work. The error screen pops up again. Usually when im able to open to edit word files it opens up through " onedrive" then word through office i believe. The problem i have now is that i still need it to work as it did before with 365 program installed. I have reached out to microsoft but they told me to ask here.. Again, this happens only with my Ipad and Iphone, not on my computer that runs windows.. Anyone who knows how to fix this? Thank youSolved73Views0likes5CommentsCan we upload live photos through Camera Uploads?
I can see lots of posts asking for support for Live Photos. I feel quite cheated that I have lost the ability to see these photos. As someone else has also posted, I have little snippets of my mother’s voice and movement that I have lost forever and she has passed away. Dropbox offer a photo sync service which means they need to solve for Live Photos, they have been around since 2015 so it’s not a new function. Please prioritise a solution to upload and then restore Live Photos.683Views2likes5CommentsAdd support to deploy Dropbox via MDM
Small and large companies use MDM's, like Microsoft Intune, to manage their devices. As Dropbox has a focus on companies, it's one of the only apps that 1: doesn't offer an app to install via MDM for Mac and Windows, 2: doesn't support script for auto account login via MDM. Dropbox does support EMM, but that doesn't to the trick for most companies. When using my iPad, I used to be able to access Microsoft .doc.x files in my Dropbox folder and choose to open it in Word. Now when I try to do so, I get a message that says, that it can’t open the file because it is “stored in an unsupported server location.” Can I get some help please?Solved78Views0likes8CommentsI'm not seeing my updates when opening Dropbox Passwords on my mobile/Firefox browser.
I use Dropbox Passwords, mainly on my computer (with Safari). I have installed the app on my phone and connected it some months ago but use it rarely. I noticed that the last changes made were not synchronized on the mobile ap. After trying different solution I uninstalled the app on my phone and reinstalled it. I can't understand, it is still the same: the last changes I made do not appear. I installed it on another brother (Firefox) and the problem is the same. The changes made on August 2024 (and latter) do not appear.27Views0likes1Comment
