View prior contents of enclosing folders
I'm a novice in terms of using Dropbox for anything other than syncing my devices. So this question is probably a Dropbox 101 type. I'd like to view several folders at different points in history. Within the past 30 days. I thought I found the applicable help suggestion but it didn't work. Thanks for any help.
Can't restore data from an old external device backup
When I look at DropBox with on the web, I can see that I have two external device backups named "Shared Data" and "Ventura ...". When I look at the backups using the app, I can only see one device backup With either of the backups, I can see no way of restoring them to a new machine. I do not have the original external device. With the "Ventura ..." backup I can see the files and download them as there are only a handful of them and then can be zipped. The "Shared Data" backup is 128GB with a considerable number of files and folders. It is therefore not feasible to navigate the complete structure, create the folder structure and then transfer the files in a folder and individual zips. Help is appreciated.
