Mobile app store on Android phone Question or Issue Subject: Cancel Dropbox Standard trial & recover old files Question: Hello, I canceled my Dropbox Standard trial to Basic two weeks before the end of the trial period. Happening: However, I never received an email confirmation. Two days before the end of the trial, I received an email asking me to provide my billing information. However, I canceled the trial. How can I be sure my trial has been canceled without being billed for it after the trial period? Furthermore, all my old photos uploaded from approximately 2010 to 2020 have disappeared, even though I have a paid account on an old Dropbox account. How do I get these photos back? I only use three devices and currently use less than 1 GB of data. I now have a dropbox Basic account. Expect to happen: 1. Email confirmation that my Dropbox Business Standard trial has ended before November 22, 2025. 2. I would prefer to have my photos back, as I have been paying subscription fees for them for years. If you cannot restore these photos, I am hereby filing a complaint and claiming damages. Hi, lately I closed my team profile from my compagny. I changed to a personal 3 tb subscription and suddenly all folder are emty. Although I used to be the one who could change everything. I changed files to an new folder in the hope it was a sync problem. It was not and using rewind ended up losing everything. What can I do now? I am a bit afraid that i lost 2tb of information and work. Doe anyone have a clue how to get my files back? I have dropbox plus and would like to extend deleted file recovery beyond 30 days. Will the Extended Version Add-On available for $39.99/year allow me to do that? I chose "Disband the Team" after that I was presented with two options DELETE EVERYTHING or SAVE ALL FILES. I chose SAVE ALL FILES. My team account was converted to an individual account. I purchased a 1 year subscription on 05/29/24 and have been using the account without problems up until last week. My account now shows that it is the basic free account with all of my files gone. Says 0 bytes used with 2G available. I am a Dropbox Plus subscriber and made my last payment on May 13, 2024. On June 5, 2024, I received a notification to renew a Dropbox Business Plus subscription due to the trial ending. I do not recall signing up for this trial, but upon checking, I found that my account was inadvertently added to a Dropbox Business Plus trial on May 5, 2024. On June 5, 2024, I could no longer access my files and was prompted to upgrade and add billing information for the Business Plus Team account. I was given two options: âDisband Teamâ or âKeep Dropbox for Teams.â The option âKeep Dropbox for Teamsâ costs $1,440 per year, which I do not need. I had just renewed my âDropbox Plusâ plan on May 13, 2024, for $119.88. Therefore, I chose the option to âDisband Team.â I did not delete the account; I simply selected "Disband Team" with the intention to downgrade from the free Business Plus trial to my regular âDropbox Plusâ for personal use. According to Dropbox Help, disbanding a team is permanent and causes regular team members to lose access to team content, however as a team admin, I did not think that I would be losing access or permanently deleting content. https://help.dropbox.com/plans/downgrade-team-plan#:~:text=You%20can%20change%20from%20Dropbox,lose%20access%20to%20team%20content.
