Hello, I'm a graphic designer with over 15 years of workload. This obviously equates to extreme files sizes. I was disappointed to learn Dropbox don't offer a package for single users over 3TB. I work solely and require more cloud space and don't want to have to upgrade to a 'per user' plan as this isn't cost effective. Dear community, I'm here to advice that the support have been denying us additional space for two weeks, first telling us that there was a momentary problem, then that we had made a request before the 7 days, then again (after waiting 7 days) that there is a problem which however is not written by Nowhere. We're really worried about that because they don't give us any timelines and the fact that the problem doesn't exist on the dropbox status page and that nobody else talks about it seems a bit suspicious. I don't like writing these posts but we are really worried don't you think? Here's the essence of the problem: I have DropBox Pro installed on an iPhone 5s, iPad Air, MacBook Pro and Windows desktop computer. I do NOT want to clog up my iPhone, iPad and MacBook with files from DropBox. I want to simply upload and then delete them from the mobile devices. I'd like to use automatic Camera Upload but when I delete the photos from my iPhone or iPad I do NOT want them deleted from DropBox...as has happened on numerous occasions (most recently when I exchanged a broken iPhone for a new one and then tried to copy content from one to the other and subsequently delete unwanted photos...on the iPhone, not "unwanted" from my DropBox space). So how do I do a one way sync? Keep in mind that after photos appear in the Camera Upload folder, I MOVE them to a different desired location...and when they're deleted from my iPhone, they are still deleted from the new location!Solved132KViews9likes45CommentsWhy can't a single user get an Advanced Account without paying for 3 users?
I'm frustrated with Dropbox plans. I'm a single user who doesn't want to pay for a 3 team plan to gain more storage capacity. Currently I'm in a 5T plan that my account shares jointly with the other institution. The institutions plan was downgraded to a lesser plan. I'm the soul producer of digital material that I share with this institution. I can no long sync my material to the account since its over capacity now. I want to upgrade my account to the Advance Account for unlimited storage. I miss understood the plan pricing. It said a yearly plan was $288 thinking I could handle this pricing. But then it came to checking out it said it would be $864, shock! Then realized it was for three users at that price. Don't advertise single user pricing upfront when you can only get it for the price of $864. No one gives a crap about single user pricing when you can't get single user pricing. Please consider the little guy who is productive and is just single user team! I've loved Dropbox but your plans suck!
