Dropbox Plan basic Device desktop computer Operating System/Browser (if using the web) windows 11 Dropbox App Version (if using the app) using website Question or Issue If someone puts a folder of photographs out there for me to view, does MY account get charged with the amount of storage taken up by those files, or does the account of the owner who put the files (photos) out there get charged, or both?50Views0likes1CommentFamily Plan needs a greater storage option
We don't need business features. We just need more space. It's a pretty simple value prop here for product management to consider. You don't have to add another pricing tier. Just allow an account storage increase option upgrade of at least 1 more TB (and honestly, why not make it larger and charge more). If you think this will cannibalize your business tier, then you haven't differentiated it strongly enough compared to families needs. We don't need support to tell us to delete files we don't need, we know that. What we need is a proper solution. I've been a loyal dropbox user since the beginning, having spent thousands on the product and espoused it to everyone I know who needed a device agnostic storage solution that just works. But can we just fix this please? Thanks for your consideration, -zoofood72Views0likes1CommentMy account stopped syncing, but it seems I'm using 187GB out of the 2GB.
Hi, why is do I keep getting emails/notifications that I'm out of space and Dropbox has stopped syncing and I Must upgrade when I clearly am not out of space? (Using 187.32 GB of 2 GB space on the basic plan). Shouldn't it still be syncing?Solved180Views0likes5CommentsI received an email stating I've used all my promotional space, but this isn't the case.
I received an email from Dropbox this morning that basically contains lies. Now I know misinformation is becoming the norm over the pond, but I'd like to think that here in the UK we can keep a reasonable amount of truth in our communications. The email (below) claims I have used all of the free 100GB Dropbox allocated me when I purchased an HP laptop. However, a simple look at my quota used shows that not to be the case. I'd like to think that this is some form of "mistake", but I feel it is a cynical attempt to get those who are not IT savvy to worry they are about to lose information and subscribe to an upgrade they do not need. Anyone else getting these lies sent them??Solved91Views0likes2CommentsIf I upgrade but someone else doesn't can they still access shared folders?
I'm on the basic dropbox plan (2GB) and my storage is full so I was going to upgrade but I have an important shared folder that is going to exceed 2GB. If I upgrade to the next tier will the other person (who hasn't upgraded past 2GB) still be able to open the shared folder or will they also have to upgrade?Solved92Views0likes1CommentI deleted all my files, but I'm still out of space.
Hi there! I am sorry to bother you maybe this topic has already been covered. My question is , since I have deleted all my files (permanent delete) from my Dropbox account , why does Dropbox still demands from me to upgrade? Thank you154Views0likes1CommentI got charged for my upgrade to the Plus plan, but I'm still on the Basic plan
Hello, yesterday I made a new plusaccount.I can see that there is a bank statement for the plus account. However, when I log in, I have the basic 2GB account. I also did not receive a confirmation email. Which is strange. What to do? Quibis.184Views0likes7Comments
