Maximum download and upload speeds
I'm setting up a new computer and syncing my dropbox business account to it. The internet connection is great on fiber optic cable (1500MB/s) but my download speeds on dropbox are about 24MB/sec What is the maximum anyone else is getting? Hi I am trying to sort out cloud storage for my photos. They are on Apple Photos on a Mac running Sierra 10.12.6. I already have an external harddrive on which they are regularly backed up. What I want to do is copy all of my photos and videos and have them on a cloud. I want to export them in albums/ year groupings and I don't want the "library" to transfer to dropbox as I know that doesnt work and can lead to photo loss. I want to keep all of the original Photos library on my desktop. What Ive been doing is creating albums in Photos, selecting then dragging and dropping into folders I have created in Dropbox in my finder on my Mac. Does this just copy them or am I moving the original from the Photos library to the Dropbox? I don't like the way ICloud works so I'm trying to find a solution for that unlikely but possible total failure of local harddrive and local backup. Unable to Save to Photo Library

Is there a limit to the size of a file that I can upload?
Is there a maximum file size that we can upload? me and my friends record videos, for youtube, they upload their footage and I download it to edit it, I choose Dropbox because it didn't seem like there was a file size upload limit unlike other file sharing sites. but my friend ran into a problem where the file wouldn't upload because it was too big....Solved22KViews0likes3Comments
Large Files Not able to be uploaded
Hello I have 8 large MPG files, roughly around 70G each. I've downloaded Dropbox onto my desktop PC and have been transferring the filesfrom my external drive into the Dropbox folder on my computer. Apparently they do not automatically upload to my shareable Dropbox folder. When I try to then drag the files onto Dropbox online, it tells me the files are too large. I have an issue with my videos' quality when on the website. Can you shed some light?
I upload videos from my iphone 6 plus. When I view them on my phone with the Dropbox app, they are far less sharp than the original. When I view them from the Dropbox website, they are better, but still not quite as good as the original. Is there some video setting I need to change? As far as I know the original files (full resolution) are what is uploaded, so the quality should be the same.Solved15KViews2likes6Comments
Using Dropbox for wedding
I am currently organizing my wedding. One of the ideas that I have is providing guests with a QR code that direct them to my dropbox. The intent is for them to take pictures on the big day and upload them to the file so that after the wedding I can transfer the pics to shutterfly to make a book. When I asked a friend to try the process she was able to get to the file and was able to look at the pics that I have in there. She however was not able to load any of her own into the account and got the notification " this folder is view only".
