I’m sharing files to a company folder that was created specifically for me. However, on my end, Dropbox is asking me to upgrade because I’ve run out of storage. The company I’m working with has a professional account, so I’m unsure why I’m being asked to pay in order to upload files to their folder.99Views0likes1CommentI'm trying to upload files via the desktop app, but I'm being told there's not enough space.
I have been on Dropbox for years. In the old days, they had onboarding "tasks" you could perform to get extra free space. I did some of those. So my limits are?/show as different from a typical basic/free plan. But the application is currently limiting me to an arbitrary space that is neither my listed (in the lower left hand account space field) available space, nor the 2G limit of a standard free account. My desire is to have someone help me understand my actual limits. Thanks in advance for any help or insight!Solved321Views0likes7CommentsI've got 18GB of referral space, but I can't upload new files to my Dropbox account.
My account has 18 gb, 16 gb are from referrals. My account has exceeded the 2gb and now it will not allow any more files even though there 16 gb more storage reflected. May I know what's going on in the case?71Views0likes1CommentWhy can't I upload my files when I have plenty of space left on my Dropbox account?
I just signed up with Dropbox for the free 2GB storage space. I have trying to save important training documents and it is saying I am out of space when I clearly have plenty of storage space left. Can I get some assistance with this? I have only used 0.09 GB. I don't have anything in backup.119Views0likes3CommentsDropbox says over storage limit when I try to upload to a shared folder
I have an empty Dropbox. See screenshot below. When I try to upload a shared folder Dropbox is saying my account is over the limit. I don't have anything in the backups folder either. Any ideas on how to resolve?316Views0likes1CommentI can't upload files to my iOS mobile app, as my iPhone has run out of space. Why is that?
Hi all! My iPhone is out of storage and so I’m currently trying to move my pictures into Dropbox. However, I’m getting messages saying my phone has no storage (and therefore, it would seem, can’t perform the operation).. Does that sound right? If so, I’m in a bit of a conundrum, because I can’t delete the photos to free storage on my phone until they’re on Dropbox! Grateful for any input. Thanks!314Views0likes1CommentOur Dropbox team has gone over-quota and I can't permanently delete my files.
My Client (Call it Client Gamma) has a Dropbox Standard Account of 5 TB. Only we 2 are the members of this account. Client Gamma is the admin. When I log In to Dropbox I get 2 Folders. My Personal Folder (Call it FOLDER ALPHA) and the Folder that my client uploads files to (Call it FOLDER Gamma). Now I have other clients(Call it Client Beta) as well. And Clients Beta have invited me to their Dropbox account. These client's folder (Folder Beta) appear inside my FOLDER ALPHA. So these folders should be independent from my main client's folder (independent from Client Gamma). > PROBLEM 1: Now Client Gamma's Account Storage is Full. I proceed to upload files to my other client's folder (Folder Beta). Their accounts are not full. But I get Dropbox is full error. > Problem 2: Hoping to create space, I decide to go to the deleted files section where my old files are rotting because I can't permanently delete them. The files I had in the FOLDER ALPHA are mine. The admin (Folder Gamma) doesn't even have access to Folder Alpha(My folder). But I can't permanently delete my own files unless I have permission from Client Gamma? I am really confused. Someone explain to me what is happening and how to solve this?2.2KViews0likes5CommentsQuestions about uploading files when promotional space is expiring
I have a promotion of 100GB of free space for 3 months for a promotion, but I have only used 60GB of 100, there are 5 days left until that promotion ends and I have to upload some files that in total make 40GB, the problem is that I don't have long enough to upload all the files, the question I have is that, if I move the folders to the dropbox from the PC and they remain uploaded, if the promotion ends, will it still let me upload those missing files or will it not let me?Solved2.7KViews0likes1Comment
