Thanks Nancy - Saturday AM (09/30) Dropbox started working properly with Safari.

Definitely cleared cache and all-time history.
Version 16.6 (18615.3.12.11.2) - MacBook 1
Version 17.0 (18616.1.27.111.22, 18616) - MacBook 2
