Can't download my files anymore. I get a "download error" message.
Device Dell Precision 7520 Operating System/Browser (if using the web) Windows 10 Dropbox App Version/Browser Version Chrome Version 142.0.7444.60 Question or Issue I had use dropbox for a long time. I have files storage in my account. Those files were downloaded few times, but know I can't download them anymore. "Download Error" message apperard in all files. I can erase or view the contents of a zip file but nor download them. Others colleges have the same problem. This is since a few days. I tried with other browsers Firefox & Edge and get the dame error. I'm a home user Thank in advvance Jorge
I can't view online-only files after upgrading to Windows 11.
I just upgraded my laptop to windows 11 after resisting for a long time. Now I cannot open any of my dropbox online-only files (especially .jpg and .pdf) and the system says it cannot access those files. If I make available offline, then the files open just fine. Getting an error when trying to open documents in various Dropbox folders

A very large of the files (Word, PDF) in various Dropbox folders do not open. For Word files, i get the foll message: 2. Such files in the Dropbox directory have a brownish tag 3. For PDF files I get the foll message: Hmmm… can't reach this page It looks like the webpage at file:///C:/Users/[removed]/Dropbox/5G%20workshop/India_2021_Forecast_Highlights.pdf might be having issues, or it may have moved permanently to a new web address. ERR_FAILED 4. The non-dropbox files do not have this problem Please suggest how to correct this.....There are a lot of Word Files in my Dropbox.... and doing anything one by one seems very painful. A downloaded student video from Dropbox isn't playing on my machine
Question or Issue I have students send me links to Dropbox videos here is the link. [Removed as per Community Guidelines] When I go to the link I get the Dropbox screen saying :" mp4 files are supported but something went wrong. I can click on the download link supplies and it downloads but will not play in Potplayer. Error about " The file exists but does not seem to have any video." The student claims the video works on her computer, that is an educational institution one and I cannot get access to it directly due to security. So student has copied and sent me via Dropbox. Tried other peoples Dropbox but no luck in playing it. Any advice gratefully received. Cyril Please try the link and any help you can be would be useful.
My iOS Dropbox app won't play one of my videos; it says the file extension's missing.
I have a video file on my PC (Win 11) that plays there. I upload to drobox folder and it plays both in windows app and via web on PC. When synced to iphone (iphone 16 plus - iOS 18.3.1) the app (version 414.3.2) won't load or play the video - gives error that says it's missing file extension and to rename the file. However the file clearly has the extension in the name. This happens when the file is available offline (downloaded). It won't load or play at all if not available offline. Says can't load file. Ideas?
