Downloading music files to my phone.

I am trying to download music files to my Android phone so I can play them with a music app. I thought I had figured out a way on my old phone, but it does not seem to be working with my new model. I know there's a way. Can you guide me?

Hey there, Charles L.10, I'd be happy to help!

If I understand your need correctly, it seems that you wish to export music files from your Dropbox account and mobile app, locally to your phone, is that correct? If not, feel free to clarify and let me know more.

Have you tried following these steps, by any chance?

Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!

Hey Charles L.10, would you mind tapping on the "..." (ellipsis) button next to the file you want to export and send us a screenshot of the options you see there?

I don't see a way to paste the screenshot into this reply box. Here are the options:
    Share
    Manage access
    Make available off line
    Move to vault
    Star
    Save to device
    Rename
    Dominate
    Move
    Open with
    Delete

FYI I need to move a number of music files so I can load them with a program that will allow me to play them in sequence.

    Thanks for checking!

So, to export the files to your device, you'll need to choose the "save to device" option.

From there, you can load them to your preferred program.

But that works with only one file. If I select multiple songs I don't see that option.

That's correct. You have to do them one at a time.
