Is there a way to turn off auto-play for audio files in the Dropbox iOS app?
Device (iPhone 14 Pro Max) Operating System/Browser (if using the web) (18.6.2) Dropbox App Version (if using the app) (450.2.2) Question or Issue We use Dropbox for our choir to store backing tracks and music scores. When we open an audio file, it plays automatically. Is there a way to stop the auto play. We need to use this on our phone for when we sing outdoors or in aged care facilities as we don't have room for a computer. I have tried turning the loop function off, but it is off on all files already. I don't want to have to use a desktop version. I just want the ability to use the app but to be able to turn off auto play in the settings. I can see that someone else had this issue 7 years ago and it looks like it has still not been fixed. Can I please vote for an auto play off button, as an update?
I can't locate some of my Dropbox folders between device. Sync miscommunication?
I'm having multiple folders not showing up on various devices. It really is a bit of a mystery as to which ones are included and excluded. Devices are up to date and dropbox is synced. Folders are showing on http://www.dropbox.com/home but still not on the PC, Phone, iPad, etc.
Cannot play offline .mp3 files on Android
This is related to Dropbox on three different android tablets, 2 Samsung, one other Android versions 14 and 15. Dropbox is the latest version from Play Store mp3 files are played in the Dropbox default mp3 player when clicked. This works correctly for mp3 files in the cloud However: - Make the mp3 files available off line and the default player wont play the file. The player opens, but the 'play' button is ineffective and the music duration box shows --/--. The same offline files can be played with third party apps using the "Open With" dialog . This is a new problem as of Oct 27th 2025. Off line files have always played correctly up to now I prefer to use the default player as it has the features I like. MIG
Some audio files won't preview that previewed fine earlier on my Android app.

When I download them they play just fine. There are audio files on the same folder in same format that preview just fine.

I like to loop certain video files but not loop others and have the settings save to that specific file. Is this not possible? I can play a file on loop, but if I change another file to NOT loop, then it changes the file I had set to loop, off. I'm not sure if there's a problem or if this is a limitation of the software?Can I view symlinks on the mobile iOS app?
Hi. I've had to move all my files to my local/internal hard drive and use symlinks within dropbox to keep them backed up but now i cant access any of them remotely. The reason for moving them is because it was causing me all sorts of issues when running the files directly from within dropbox / file provider. Does anyone know a way of symlinks being possible to view within the iOS app or website? Thanks
Can't open pictures on Samsung tablet (Android OS)

Dropbox App Version (if using the app) (444.2.2) Question or Issue I have been having problems open pictures (jpg, png, etc) from the Dropbox app. I can see pictures listed in the app. When I try to open them, they just stuck at the loading screen. Sometimes they may load after a few minutes. Sometime they will load forever. The videos and other documents open just fine. I can open pictures with third party app such as Samsung Gallery with no issue. It seems like the Dropbox picture viewer is having some trouble to load content. I have tried to clear cache and reinstall the App. I'm still having the same issue. Any help to resolve this problem would be appreciated.
