Offline archives on micro SD external card on Android device

Good morning, I recently bought an Android e-ink reader, and the internal storage is only 64GB, which isn't very much. It has a microSD card slot (up to 1TB), and I'd like offline files to be downloaded to the card, as the device has quite limited storage capacity and I'll be using large PDF files with audio. Any ideas on how to do this? Thank you very much.

Hi there juanvarela69 - thanks for using Dropbox and welcome to our Community!

The Dropbox mobile app doesn't really store your Dropbox files on your mobile devices, it's mostly for viewing your files.

That said, you should be able to export (or download) your files to your preferred location normally if needed.

I hope this helps a tad and please let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi! Thanks for your fast reply.

But how it's possible to see and modify (as I can do now) on my tablet without WiFi or 5g, if the archives are not downloaded? What I want to do is to make offline a folder very heavy without using internal storage, justbusing micro sd card without moving archives, just say to Dropbox "I want offline downloads here". Sorry for my english.

    Thanks again

So you'd like to achieve something similar to what's discussed here. Am I right juanvarela69

If you find that offline files won't work for you, you can download or export them directly to your micro SD card via the Dropbox mobile app or the website.

Yes Walter. It's a shame that Dropbox can't do this natively, but your solution has worked.

    Thank you very much
