We've just started getting a "failed fetching latest photos" on our Android Samsung Folds. What's somewhat strange is that the photos do appear in the web and also in our Mac app "Camera Uploads" folder. We'd always assumed that photos had to be captured first on our phones and then transferred ... but apparently the Android app is independent of actual camera uploads. Hopefully someone can help or reassure us that we're not the only ones with this minor but somewhat aggravating problem. We want to be able to see all our photos on our phones in Dropbox, too.Solved42Views0likes4Comments''Sorry, something went wrong" error when trying to open Excel file in Dropbox on Android tablet

It would be immensely helpful to me to be able to automatically download every file to a folder on my Android phone when it syncs with my Dropbox account, the same way it does on my Windows PC. I can't seem to be able to find a way to do this automatically the way it works on desktop, and it's very frustrating. I'm not sure if it matters, but I'm using the free version of Dropbox. If this is a feature supported by a higher tier, I'll happily upgrade.32Views0likes1CommentEvery uploaded video to Dropbox from Galaxy S24+ is corrupted
I just came to the realization after about 9 months of having this S24+ that all of the videos that are automatically uploading are corrupted. They can play in all of the video applications but are choppy with seemingly decreased resolution. The corruption is apparent both in the cloud and when it shoots back down to my computer suggesting the problem is at that initial level of Dropbox uploading from the S24. What really finally keyed me off was that I was going to make a Facebook post and it wouldn't upload the video which I finally narrowed down to all videos taken from this S24. The videos look great on the phone itself and if I try to upload the video directly from the S24 to Facebook it works well. Provided that I can manually get these videos onto my computer (not through Dropbox) yielding a great, uncorrupted product, the problem is Dropbox which perturbs me as I have many hours of work having categorized and renamed files which I absolutely do not want to redo. I'm very much hoping Dropbox can remedy this with as little work as possible so that I don't need to start looking for a new cloud solution.Solved40Views0likes4CommentsCan't download large files to my Android phone using the Dropbox app

I'm New to using cloud based storage. I'm using Dropbox and onedrive right now and and have been organizing all my documents and pics intl file folders or albums, whichever you prefer to call them. So today dropbox has informed me I'm out of storage. So what I'm trying to figure out is how do I download a folder back to my hard drive? I can do it file by file but that defeats the purpose of all the work I've put into organizing everything. Am I missing something or was what I did a waste of time? It doesn't even ask me what folder I want to drop it into when I download a file. I'm using a Samsung galaxy s21 5gSolved2.6KViews0likes6CommentsMake folder available to other apps on Android?
I'd like to use Dropbox to sync Obsidian markdown files on my Android phone and tablet (since the official Obsidian sync corrupts my files). How can I do that? I tried doing "Make available offline" but that didn't make the folder available to other apps, only within the Dropbox app. I tried DropSync but that only syncs once every hour, which is not often enough for using Obsidian. Thanks!319Views0likes2CommentsI get a "permanent failure" error when trying to access a database on my mobile device.
Hope someone can assist... I need to open a file to access the newest database but when I attempt to, I get a permanent failure. I have cleared the cache, cleared memory, uninstalled the app from my mobile device, (Pixel), reinstalled and I still receive the error message. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.3.9KViews0likes15Comments
