How to download a 280GB file from DB Backups?
The file is in a folder on my external drive backup. I get notification that it's too large to zip. So how can I download it without having to copy the entire drive backup to a new drive?

11 months agoHi Stretch1, to restore a file from your Dropbox Backup, you would need to download it manually by following these steps. Currently, there isn't another method to download an external drive backup.

Thanks - I backup my main drive to Backups so that I have a copy of it I can access in case the physical drive fails. Are you saying I'm not able to copy the cloud backup from DB Backups to a new drive if my main drive fails? That would make Backups redundant for me - please confirm.

Thanks for the info. Currently, there isn't another method to download the Backup from the Dropbox site, as per my previous message, for external drive backups.
