If I open an existing file with "Excel for web", it reverts to an older file.

when I open an existing file and click on "excel for web" it reverts to an older file

    Hi spencer82​, and thanks for your post. 

    Is this happening on multiple browsers?

    If you have the desktop app installed on your device, can you open one of your Excel files locally with Microsoft Excel and let me know what you see then? 

    Other than that, I’d like a screenshot of what you see when visiting the version history of an Excel file you’ve accessed online via Excel for the web.

    Give me a nudge, once you have more info.
