is it possible to see the views history and statistics for shared folders?

Dear All.

Could you please help me how can I see the history of vievs of the folders shared (existed and deleted)?

Thank you in advance.

Best Regards,

  • You can have a look at your events page for general information on activity within your account (eg. additions and deletions), but you won't be able to see who viewed your shared folders.

You can post this idea here though, where other like-minded users can comment and upvote it.

In the meantime, if you have any other questions, just give me a shout. Thanks, DF55!

Hi DF55, thanks for reaching out to us.

In general, you can see if someone is viewing shared content with viewer info and, depending on the plan that your account is on, you might be able to see who last viewed your files. You can find more info about it, here

If you're on a Business plan and you're a team admin, you might be able to get a more detailed log about this from your admin console's activity tab

    I hope this helps!

      Dear Lusil.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, I'm not admin and we have just regular dropbox license.

I occasionally  downloaded yesterday and deleted the folder in the morning today. But since the information is sensitive I'd like to be sure that it wasn't viewed.

Can I have any options to see an activities for yesterday and ultill 9.30 today? The folder is deleted at the moment.

Looking forward to reading from you
