Loss of color sharpness when I download HDR videos

I noticed that videos I uploaded from iPhone which were shot using HDR, appear washed out when I download them to my PC. I upload these videos using the Dropbox app for iPhone and they appear fine in...

Hi dbthrowa, thanks for messaging us!

 

It could be an issue with the codec used for the video, since your computer and phone would have different methods to reproduce the video. 

 

Have you tried using a different video player on your device to see if this helps?

 

Additionally, how exactly are you downloading the videos onto your computer?

 

This will help me to assist further!
