Newly added documents don't show up on our Dropbox.
We are having a problem where new documents being added to our DropBox are not showing up. The person who added the documents can see them but no one else can. I can't tell what documents are and are...

Got it Kathe Debenham!
So it looks like this might be a syncing issue.
Would you mind checking on your task/menu bar and let me know if you see your little Dropbox icon, next to your WiFi?
If so, what do you see there when you hover your mouse over it? That should give you the app's current version and syncing status too.

2 years agoJust to clarify my colleague's earlier question, are the other users not able to see the files in the shared folder directly on the Dropbox site?

Yes correct

Hey Kathe Debenham, is it possible that at some point you or the other member renamed the folder?
In case there's a mismatch there, and you're both adding content to different folders.
Also, if you check the folder's settings, do you see them as members there?

Yes, all of the members who should be able to access the folder are listed there.

When you visit the website, you can see the changes you made into the folder, right Kathe Debenham?
Is it possible to temporarily remove the member from the folder and add them back? That is if you're the folder's owner.

No, when I go to the website I can not see the changes that I have made recently.
And no, I tried that and it didn't work. My coworker still can not see the documents. - Megan2 years ago

Yes, I see it. I didn't know that was there. I updated DropBox and now it is working. Thanks so much for your help!
