- 7 years agoIf it is still syncing, then it means that it isnât up to date yet.Iâd recommend waiting until all your files have finished syncing before attempting to open those files.If it doesnât stop syncing, try an advanced reinstall of the app to see if this resolves the issue.

4 years agoHey elainemorrison, sorry to jump in here, but could you clarify how exactly you're attaching the file in the first place?
Are you ensuring that the file is locally available to your computer first by making it available offline?
Also, have you considered using the Gmail add-on as an alternative way to achieve what you had in mind?

Hi Walter I used to be able to take photos and drag them from finder to emails or Shopify. Ever since I did a Mac update earlier this year it stopped working and shows as zero bytes. I've asked and asked and asked and asked and no one at Dropbox seems to know what I'm talking about or what to do.
I downloaded the photos from my photographer to Dropbox. All was fine for months and then after the update, I'm not able to access them in an easy fashion. And no one has an answer...
