The Requested Operation Couldn’t Be Completed - Dragging & Dropping iPad Files
Dragging and dropping error using the stock files app on iPad OS (13 latest) with the latest version of Dropbox installed.
Each time I try to drag and drop a file using the files app I'm greeted with an error message: The requested operation couldn't be completed because the feature is not supported.
Any ideas to fix it? Or is it just another Dropbox issue that won't ever get addressed like the missing favourites bug?
Note, dragging and dropping works flawlessly using Google Drive, One Drive, iCloud etc. I've tried removing and redownloaded Dropbox etc.

- Kay V.6 years agoExplorer | Level 4Thanks for your reply. I can’t figure out any options how to contact the dropbox support via email, maybe because I’m on the basic, free subscription?Regarding the fact that that there are a bunch of other people having this problem I would appreciate it if you would contact the expert team. Would that be possible?

Thanks for getting back to me here Kay V.
No problem, I've just reached out to the email linked with your profile here so that we can look into this further. When you have the chance, please check your inbox for my message and we can take it from there.
I understand that there are others here who are having the same issue, and I've made sure to pass this on. Doing a little further investigation through our Support channel allows us to have a look into this alongside some device specific info too.
Cheers!

Thanks Daphne!
- Kay V.6 years agoExplorer | Level 4Hi Daphne , I tried to reply to your E-Mail with my E-Mail-App (iOS) but it came back after a few days because it couldn’t be delivered.
Here’s what I wrote to you:
Hi Daphne,
I am using an iPad Pro 2020 with iPad OS 13.5 an an iPhone 7 with iOS 13.5.1, both devices have the issue.
My iPhone did not have the issue though, before I updated it from iOS 12.4 to 13.5.1, suggesting some incompatibilities between iOS 13.5.x and the iOS file manager app.
Best wishes
