We're getting a 404 error when trying to open or download files from a team folder. Any ideas?
this issue is happening to me as well - please send a solution!

7 years agoI see now - thanks for the clarification Helen!
Upon testing the shared link you provided I also hit a 404 error.
Now, kindly note that shared links will break if the file(s) has been deleted from its Dropbox folder. Please check to see that the file is still located in your Dropbox folder. You can look at your deleted files on the following page:
https://www.dropbox.com/deleted_files
Please also be aware that there is a 20GB daily limit on link traffic for Basic accounts, and a 200GB daily limit for paid accounts. Exceeding this limit will disable your shared links.
I hope this information helps point you towards the right direction while I remain at your disposal should you need any further assistance with this Helen; just let me know here and I'll reach out to your Dropbox associated email address to work on it together.
Thanks again!

Hi, the issue seems to have been resolved - if i click on the three dots the file opens and i can edit it.
It still doesnt work when i click on open with, so might be an issue still to investigate

I'm sorry, could you clarify if you have added the files you're trying to edit to your account first? Can you see them within your 'Files' tab on our website?
I'm only asking because shared links are by default view only Helen.
Thanks for your cooperation so far!
