Can I recover empty (0kb) documents on joint Dropbox account?
Hello Community
At my old firm we had a dropbox account as the shared document server.
When we merged with another company I was removed from the account but the local Dropbox remained and I had access for some time. Now (2 years later) I can see all file names, but they are at 0kb) so empty files.
Somehow important files seem to have been deleted at some point (we are not sure when) from he active accounts and the folder is empty. I however can see these empty files in my incactive dropbox but no data in them.
Can these potentially be recovered? If so, how would we go about this?

Well, let me tell you, after hacking in as one of the still active accounts (with that account holder sitting next to me) I found the files in the trash when searching 'custom' dates and going beyond the maximum 12 months listed. Turns out the files were deleted just over a year ago. I'm restoring and then making a local copy.

In that case, I'd recommend logging into the account and searching for your missing files there Sarei. Note that you can start from the deleted files page and also the events page.
