Can I restore multiple files at once?

I erased all my files on dropbox by mistake. Can I retrieve various files from dropbox backup at once or can I only retrieve one file at a time? The files were deleted about 3 weeks ago.

Hey tavarria, I'm glad to see you were able to locate your files!

Indeed, if you want to use the Dropbox application again, to sync files with Dropbox, all you need to do, is download our app and sign in to your account.

    I hope this helps!

Thanks for posting on our Community, tavarria

If you go to your Events page here, do you see a specific deletion event that includes all these files?

If yes, you can click on it and try to restore them all at once.

Let me know if that helps.

Hi Nancy, Thanks for the suggestion. I went to the link but did not find any event that deleted all of the events, only a few isolated deleted files earlier on. The last event noted was an added file that dropbox sent me on 9/6 with instructions on how to de-link my account, as it was causing me problems with my Mac and my iCloud. See below the last document’s content, any ideas? Tony

    You: Type your own question
Dropbot: Ok. What's your question? (For options, type 'menu').
You: I am trying to retrieve all the folders that I deleted how can I select all the folders?
Dropbot: In order to help, can you tell me a bit more?
Dropbot: Where are your files missing from:
    You: Missing from both
Dropbot: If your missing file isn't on dropbox.com, it may have been deleted or moved.

First review your deleted files [[https://www.dropbox.com/deleted_files?utm_source=sup&utm_content=chatbot||here]]
To restore the file, click on the file name, then click restore.

If the file was moved, you may find it [[https://www.dropbox.com/events?utm_source=sup&utm_content=chatbot||here]]

    So www.dropbox.com/events isnt showing anything?

ALL additions/deletions etc. are listed there, so if they aren't showing there something else has happened.

Were these files a share at all?

Hi Mark, Thanks for your reply. I found my files. At the moment I am working with iCloud and am not synced with dropbox, but I can still access files that are in dropbox. In the future to reestablish sync with you, so that I can see all the files on my computer, do I just re-download the dropbox software and sign in? Tony
