Can I search for files created by specific users?
Is there an easy way to search for all files created by a specific user without having to troll through hundreds of other documents? I have tried the search bar function but it gives me all documents with that name in the body/naming etc. I only want a specific users files.

Hi Leanne J., thanks for posting today!
It should be possible to search for files if you're the admin on a Dropbox Business team on the Advanced plan.
In the activity log you get an option to filter files by the user who created them.

If that's the case, then it won't be possible to determine which files are created by specific users, as this is a feature specific to the Dropbox Business plans. - Diana283 years agoExplorer | Level 4
Hi,
could you elaborate on how to do that Jay? In the activity log, I can click on Add Activities, where I can choose filters, but I don't see anywhere referencing a file creation.

Hi Diana28, sorry for jumping in.
After clicking on the “Add activities” button, there should be a search bar showing on the new pop-up window. If you type “created” in the search bar, you should see all possible activities that you want to see results for.
