Ok I think it is working now. Sorry for the back and forth! I ended up disconnecting the Icloud storage drive and then reconnecting that. I also redownloaded the Dropbox desktop app and now it seems to work better. I've tested with several folders and they seem to work now. Hopefully this will continue to work okay.
