Can't delete files from an unlinked PC for Dropbox Backup
Hello,
I have a backup of a PC I don't have access to anymore. When I try to delete files from it, I get a message saying that I have to unlink it under Setting -> Security.

Thanks for the update. It isn't possible to delete, add or edit specific files from the backup, since this is a one way sync from a computer to the site.
The only option you'll have is to delete the entire backup to free up the quota from your account.

Even though it is unlinked ?
When I try to delete those files it tells me is possible, but I have to unlink first, weird.
I can search for the computer to see if I can install dropbox to change this.
Where in Windows can IP can for the PC name that dropbox uses ?

2 years agoDo the backups have computer names on them on the backup page? Could you attach a screenshot showing this?

We're not able to view images from external sites. However, if you can see the computer name, then you can look at your machine to see which computer has the same name as your backup.
