Do Dropbox files vanish during a computer factory reset?
Hi,
As the title says,
Do Dropbox files vanish when you do a factory reset on your computer?
It seems like it because I have read that if you delete the files it also disappear from the dro...

Dropbox files would only get deleted IF you deleted them from the drive before you did the reset. As a Factory Reset would be done when Dropbox wasnt running (i.e. its from the BIOS / set up programs) it wouldnt actively delete the files in your own Dropbox

Ok, so the files in my saved Dropbox catalog which I have uploaded online won't get deleted when I do a factory reset of the computer?
This is important to know for me so I don't loose everything.

The reason I'm asking is that I have read that people saying they must have the dropbox and it's folder
on the computer otherwise it's not going to work with dropbox online so I was afraid all the files should get lost if I'm factory reset my computer.
So the files are secure here in the "cloud" during the reset of the computer?
