Do Dropbox files vanish during a computer factory reset?

Hi,   As the title says, Do Dropbox files vanish when you do a factory reset on your computer? It seems like it because I have read that if you delete the files it also disappear from the dro...

No they wont. 

 

If you are really concerned you can always unlink Dropbox first 🙂

The reason I'm asking is that I have read that people saying they must have the dropbox and it's folder

on the computer otherwise it's not going to work with dropbox online so I was afraid all the files should get lost if I'm factory reset my computer.

So the files are secure here in the "cloud" during the reset of the computer?
