Documents are just missing but I didn't delete them
I'm on a Windows PC with a laptop as well as a laptop and iPhone.
I have a lot of documents,
and something has happened where my documents literally have been deleted. I can't find a version con...

I have the same issue when I went through events. I know the documents were there because they're saved in other places.

This is rarely, if ever, a result of something wrong with Dropbox. Most likely the files were moved or deleted by another person or process, perhaps even yourself without realizing it.
Provided you can go back far enough in the Events page history, you should see a record of what happened. The only times the Events page won't have that information is if the event happened too long ago to where it has fallen off your available history, or if the files were in a shared folder that you were removed from.
Otherwise if there are no events, the files were not synced to the Dropbox servers.

I'm living here right now, and I'm the only user.
The other thing about deleted files is it only goes back 30 days.

That usually means there is no activity before that date. It usually shows up to 6 months of data even though it isnt recoverable if a free user.
