Downgraded personal account, lost everything.
I can't find this question anywhere so here goes.
I just downgraded from a paid personal account back to the free.
This morning I had to make a new password and ALL my info is gone. Nothing in history, trashcan, or anywhere.
What have I done? ANY chance to recover it?
thanks,
Were you using a Team account or part of a Business at all?
What did your emails say about the downgrade? Just checking you did downgrade and not close the account didnt you?

Downgrading doesnt cause you to need to change your password, so, you have almost certainly set up a new account - especially if Events etc. is blank.
To get to your files you need to log out and in to the other account. Could you try searching for any emails from no-reply@dropbox.com to give you some clues?

That's what I thought as well. But I was logged out everywhere this morning and I only use 1 email for DB. - Mark4 years ago
