Excel file reverted to older version and I get an error when checking its version history

Hi,  An excel file was reverted to an old version, 31/01/2023. And this is a file that I edited every month. If I check the history of file obtain:   
edit
Error Messages
restore

No it is no possible, is year the I edit this file, and if file it was not synched in local vesion i must have the new file e not the oldest one.
Anyway it is clear an error if when i see the history i obtain a screen error and not a correct history page.

Yes i have a free varsion of dropbox, but the version of 2023 of the file is not the last version is an old version. I cannot prove this but i'm sure what i say .....
