Files still in old location

I took over a previous coworker's desktop.  I sucessfully logged his dropbox account out, logged in on my account, and moved the dropbox location to a second larger harddrive.  Everything is working ...

    Hello AndrewWilliams, I hope you're having a good day so far!

    Since this folder is no longer connected to the Dropbox account, you should be fine to go ahead with deleting the old Dropbox folder and its content.

    Just to make sure, you can check the current Dropbox folder location is indeed pointing to the new location in the second hard drive by:

    1. Click the Dropbox icon in your system tray/menu bar.
    2. Click the profile pic/initials icon in the top right of the window.
    3. Choose "Preferences..."
    4. Go to the "Sync" tab.

    From there, you should see the full folder path that's currently connected to the desktop app. If this isn't showing the old location, then you're 100% safe to remove the old files.
