Finder colour codes now seem to disappear when a file is online only
So it would seem that when I now make a file online only, the finder colour code associated with it disappears. Is this deliberate, because for me it's an absolute disaster?

3 years agoHi Snowdog63, it's likely both things you mentioned are related to the newer version of the Dropbox desktop application for Mac OS, on which you can read about here.

Hi Jay,
Shouldn't it be resolved? It's crazy to have an app for MacOS that removes essential MacOS features. If a placeholder file is created when the file goes "online only", that placeholder file should also keep the tags like it keeps the filename, right?
Tags are an essential feature of the Finder.
Are the team working to fix this bug?
