How can I edit my Dropbox Excel files on a mobile device?

Good morning, on my Dropbox from my computer I have created several files with Excel and I edit them very often. If I access from my smartphone I can only see the files but not modify them. Is the...

Hi Nancy, I have the same issue. But when I follow the steps and tap on Excel on web, it doesn't take me to Excel, but to a Dropbox page that offers only opening the file in Dropbox ("Get App", or "Have the app? Open file"). This is Chrome on tablet. On laptop everything works fine.

Hey Paola024, you'll need to install the relevant app on your mobile in order to edit the content on your mobile app. 

 

That'll be the easiest route. Can you give it a go?

    Good morning Megan, I tried to install the app, but to edit the files it asks me to open them with Excel, I logged in with Google and this appears to me:

    "Access blocked: The Dropbox request does not comply with Google's policies for using safe browsers. If this app has a website, try accessing there."

    But unfortunately it is not possible for me to make changes from the site, as I said in previous posts.
    Is there a way to solve it?

      Hi Paola024, could you attach a screenshot showing this message you're getting?
