How can I get my corrupted data back?
Dropbox has gone whaco. my files are weird, some missing some strangely corrupted. What has happened and how can I retrieve /extract my stuff?
Had files for over a decade. Lenovo windows 10 support was failing so I bought a mac. Moved files to Dropbox. got notices of nearly full. stopped adding files. Can no longer open the Lenovo (says: missing operating system) Access from macbook now scrambled and weird.
How can I get my data back? I',m devastated

What exactly is happening on the Mac?
Do you have a program on the Mac to open the files? For example Word docs will need something to open it etc.

Are you having a problem accessing files? Every situation is different, and whatever occurred here likely won't apply to your situation, if there is one.
What problem are you having, exactly?
